Close your right eye and focus your left eye on the right circle. The left circle disappears.
We have two permanent scotomas because of our two optical nerves. Usually we do not perceive them (excepted when we make the blind point test like with my sketchbook) because our brain recreates the missing fragments of our vision.
Visual perception is an act of interpretation.

Nos deux points aveugles ne sont pas perceptibles en situation normale parce que notre cerveau recrée les fragments manquants en s'inspirant de ce qu'il perçoit. Mais en faisant le test dit du "blind point" on peut les faire "apparaître".
Fermer l'oeil gauche et fixer le cercle gauche avec l'oeil droit ; le cercle droit alors disparait.
Le "blind point" montre que d'emblée "voir c'est interpréter".
